Killala girls came out top in this semi final match played at Courthouse St. on Sunday. Despite missing a number of players who were on Connaught schools duty in Athlone it was a quite comfortable win for the home side who gave starting debuts to Jacinta Munnelly and Grainne McHale at U16 level and both girls were excellent. Goals from Alanna Naughton (3) Aileen Gilroy (4) Sorcha McGee 1 Elaine Lowther 1 Jacinta Munnelly 1 and Karen Lawlor 1 put Killala through to the Final where Manulla await.
